Style Etiquette: Who Showed Up Hot (Or Not) At The BET Awards 2009

It’s time for the fun part of writing this blog.  Picking on celebrities who show up to awards shows looking a hot mess.  There weren’t many, so we’ll show the ones who know how to do it right, as well.

Start Trek actress Zoe Saldana

Looking space age, yet feminine in this angled, one sleeved dress is pretty Zoe Saldana.  I’d say she did it right!

Tyra Banks @ BET Awards 2009

I’m not feeling Tyra Banks and her slutty secretary look.

Toccara Jones

Toccara Jones is looking sleek in this retro style glam-o-jumper.  A little top heavy though.  Next time, opt for the support bra, baby.  The bare neck is nice, but a necklace wouldn’t hurt.

Tempestt Bledsoe BET Awards 2009

Cosby kid alum, Tempestt Bledsoe, is looking good in this royal violet dress.

The hair, earrings and dress are fine, but a sexier shoe is in order here.  Too much bondage on the feet.  Maybe she’s into that sort of shoe…

Tatyana Ali BET Awards 2009

Fresh Prince Of Bel Air star, Tatyana Ali, shows up in perfection!  Perfect, age-appropriate copper tone dress, playful hair and shoe.  Look at that hem length. Perfection!  Did I put this outfit together?  Nope, but we are certainly on the same page.  BEST DRESSED!!!!

Omarosa @ BET Awards 2009

I’m not feeling this bubble gum pixie pink dress.  That bubble at the bottom is so unflattering.  The dress is age inappropriate, as I view it on a teen age girl, rather than a woman.  She needs a do-over.

Meagan Good BET Awards 2009

Meagan looks stunning, but she could opt for a better shoe.  That shoe does not carry the sass of the dress.  She could also get rid of the shoulder fringe.  It’s just too much!

BET Awards 2009 Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys shows up just a gorgeous as ever in curls and a long sleeved mini dress.  What makes this sexy is that she is showing off her legs (not shown).  The soft look of the long sleeve leaves this mini in tact and keeps it away from showing too much skin, which can look slutty.

Beyonce at BET Awards 2009

Beyonce….NOOOOOOOOO!  This retro 80’s painting print is doing nothing for you.  It’s doing nothing but driving my eyes crazy.  Those sea foam green hoops are yuck!  You know better, girl.
