Chris Brown: No Jail, No Rihanna For 5 Yrs

Is there a road to recovery for pop star Chris Brown?  We can’t seem to put our fingers on the details of that, but we do know that Chris has “beaten” the system and will not spend anytime in jail for the brutal beating of his former girlfriend, a pop star in her own right, Rihanna.

No time in jail and no Rihanna.  In his sentencing, it was explained that Chris Brown cannot have contact with Rihanna for 5 years.

He also must perform community labor as one of the terms of his sentencing.

Let’s hope Mr. Brown learns his lesson and keeps his hands to himself.  What a way to learn that lesson!

LOS ANGELES — A judge on Tuesday sentenced Chris Brown to five years’ probation and six months’ community labor for the beating of Rihanna and ordered the R&B singer to stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown that he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence, including an order to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna unless they’re attending music industry events.
