War Of The Gosselins: Jon Takes The Money, Kate Can’t Pay Bills, All Hell Breaks Loose!

Without TMI, I understand what divorce is like.

I know the dynamics of it and ANY who can divorce without this much drama is ahead of the game.

This set of parents are loco, and I mean that in a good way.

Kate Gosselin is burning life at both ends and so is Jon.

You cannot think rationally during this process of divorce.  It’s impossible.  It’s incredibly stressful.

For anyone that has been divorced and survived with little emotional scarring, you are way ahead of the game.

So what’s REALLY going on in the current war between the Gosselins?

Money Issues

Now that Jon Gosselin, the embattled dad formerly of TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” is out of a job, his estranged wife says it seems he’s desperate enough to drain funds from their shared bank account.

The reality TV star plans to take legal action to end “Jon and Kate.”

Kate Gosselin says he withdrew more than $200,000 from the couple’s joint bank account without authorization, leaving her with $1,000.

“He took $230,000 of the $231,000 we had,” the reality TV mom told NBC Monday. “I have a stack of bills. The last thing I wanted was to do this show and end up not being able to pay our bills.” See video of her with crocodile tears and a story!

In a statement to The Insider (which reportedly has paid for his exclusive services), Jon says as much, and claims Kate might have her own ’splaining to do.

“I’ve never taken any money out because over 10 years, Kate handled all the banking,” he said. “She says in the past week I took $230,000. I have withdrawn roughly $177,000 over the course of a year, which is less than 10 percent of what we made. That’s like my paycheck.

“She’s hiding money. We have 11 bank accounts. That was just our joint account. She has a best-selling book. Where’s that million dollars?” via

One Jon Does Stop A Show

Jon claims he does not want the children to continue their reality series.  Jon has basically taken TLC thru the ringer and stopped show production.  TLC has their hands tie and fingers crossed.

“I don’t think it’s healthy for them, and the reason I don’t think it’s healthy for them is that we’re going through a divorce right now,” Gosselin told CNN’s “Larry King Live” Thursday night. “And I don’t think it should be televised, and I think my kids should be taken off the show.”

TLC shut down filming of the children on “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ after receiving a cease-and-desist order from Gosselin’s attorney Thursday. A sign has been posted outside the family home in Pennsylvania ordering all film crews to back off the property.

“At this point, both parents have joint custody,” Jon Gosselin’s lawyer, Mark Heller, said. “So, clearly, without the consent of both parents, this cannot go forward.”

TLC has fired back, slamming Gosselin’s erratic behavior. But his wishes are apparently being granted.

“Despite Jon Gosselin’s repeated self-destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC,” the cable-TV network said in a statement. “Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended.”

Kate Plus 8, Without Jon Woes And Issues

Jon claims he was gonna quit the show anyway.  That’s fine and dandy to say after you’re fired!  Jon has some serious issues if he things he looks like the caring father.  In the court of public opinion, he makes Kate, who has an edgy side of her own, look like a little lost angel.

“Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family,” TLC President Eileen O’Neill said.

“The family has evolved, and we are attempting to evolve with it,” O’Neill said. “We feel that Kate’s journey really resonates with our viewers. Additionally, the network is in development on a Kate project for 2010.”

The new show will take “a deeper focus on Kate’s role in the family and her journey as a single mother building the next chapter in her life.”

Jon Gosselin will still appear, “but on a less regular basis,” the network said. TLC will keep its “exclusive relationship” with him, it said. (Cnn.com)

Dead Beat Dad Issues

Gosselin told King that he’d had an epiphany in recent weeks, and that he “didn’t want to be this person anymore.”

He acknowledged that he’d made many mistakes in dealing with the intense media glare amid the public dissolution of his 10-year marriage.

Gosselin has not spoken to his estranged wife in more than three weeks, he said, despite his efforts to contact her through phone and text message.

Kate Gosselin issued a statement saying she is confused by her husband’s actions. “Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids.”
