Ghetto Around The Globe: UK Chav Crews Pimp The C-Walk

May 18, 2008

I almost post this with a feeling of acceptance. I was so caught up into the who breakdance craze in the 80’s. It totally rocked!

Reminiscent of the street dancers and pop lockin’ dances in the 80’s, the hot craze is now the “C-Walk”.

What I know is that the “C-Walk” revolves in and out of popularity. And it’s “IN” again.

The history of the “C-Walk” or the Crip-Walk seem to stem from the gangster rivalries in the 70’s and 80’s. Crip walk was kind of like the “gang sign” or “gang step” to identify Crip gang members in Compton, CA.

With that small history lesson, check out… and dare to try some of these steps performed by London 5 Way, in London, England.

Or, try a tutorial. Shown Below.
